A BEAUTIFUL HOME IN THE MEXICAN WILDERNESS

ENJOY PRIVATE LUXURY IN THIS COZY VACATION HOME

What do you get when you combine simplicity with luxury? A comfort only the Monte House can give, that’s for sure. The Monte House by Mexican architecture group TACO is both a work of art and ingenuity.

The home is designed to keep just enough of nature’s undesirables out. The design takes advantage of the naturally occurring dominant winds in the area for temperature regulation.

You and a special someone can expect a fresh exposure to nature, a level of luxury in the middle of nowhere, and even an outdoor pool.

The architect used an orthogonal volume with contrasting materiality. The exterior and interior finish is made of rough stucco with artisanal paint based on lime and mineral pigments.

For the carpentry, folding doors with operable louvers of regional cedar wood were used, which allow users to control the level of contact between the interior and the exterior.
