Tiny houses are gaining popularity as it promotes a more mindful, minimalist way of life. One woman compares and contrasts tiny house living in the Catskills vs. small apartment living in Manhattan. After all, the city apartment is 700 square feet – almost like a tiny home in size.

From her own experience, her small apartment doesn’t feel so different compared to a tiny house. She notes that even if the tiny home didn’t have a place for a couch and a living area, entertainment was not a problem because there is an allotted space for a TV at the foot of the loft bed.

Or is it because you want to live a life that offers more flexibility for things like traveling and working remotely?
