Find Peace Of Mind In This Minimalist House On A Snowy Mountain
Imagine this: A house with minimalist design, a nice clean finish, and in the middle of a tranquil, snowy mountain? Sounds like paradise right? Well, we got good news for you because that paradise exists!
The EFH Hochleitner House by LP Architektur is a pretty much a haven of peace from the outside world. A smart blend of timber, concrete, and glass, along with natural interior lighting, and cozy living space makes this house in Embach, Austria the place to be if you’re looking for that much-needed retreat from busy cities.
A calm, minimalist aesthetic prevails inside. The interior space is mostly clad in timber with accents of concrete and glass. Furniture is kept to a minimum with built-in features, such as a spectacular double-height bookshelf, adding further to the sense of order. A central staircase, cleverly lit from a skylight above as well as through an open bookshelf on one wall, provides a strong visual connection between the ground floor and the mezzanine.
