LIVE AS ONE WITH NATURE
Have you always wondered how a true organic home looks like? This home by renowned Mexican architect Javier Senosiain is the perfect blend of modern architecture and nature-inspired designs.
You would mistake this home as just another hill! The transition from the natural landscape to the home is almost seamless. There are large windows open up the cave-like interiors to the beautiful outdoors.
The use of nature here is more than just for aesthetics. Every bush and tree serves as natural temperature regulators for the home. Especially the grass roof as it protects the home from hot and cold temperatures.
The interior has a minimal yet relaxing feel. Designed to look like a cave, the organic flow of the walls and corridors create a space that’s both open and private at the same time.
“To take a walk in the garden is to walk over the roof of the house itself without even realizing it,” Senosiain said. The Mexican architect is famous for his organic architecture—to date, he has built houses inspired by the shape of a snake, a shark, and a flower to name just a few.
