AMBULANCE REVIVED INTO A MOBILE HOME

Everything Deserves A Second Chance in Life, Like This Ambulance

A tiny home on wheels sounds like a great combination for a lot of people who wish to venture out into the world with a modest lifestyle. A man from Newport Beach, California found an ambulance on eBay and converted it into a lovely tiny mobile home and has been traveling with it around Central America.

Due to the limited space in the ambulance, Dow made use of various multi-functional furniture and items to help him maximize the small living space such as a sofa that can fold out into a bed. He even made sure to add lots of storage areas to avoid congesting his tiny home with clutter. In the end, he ended up with a compact home that he can take to almost anywhere with his friend and his dog.

It just comes to show how almost anything with an enclosed space, and wheels as a bonus, can be turned into a humble little home.

Unique to the design is the former equipment closet located on the exterior, which Ian converted into an outdoor shower – perfect for enjoying incredible views while cleaning up after a long day of hiking or surfing. And, as if the beautiful interior weren’t enough, he added a sundeck on the ambulance’s roof, complete with an extendable umbrella.
