BIG OR SMALL? WHY NOT BOTH?

THIS TWO-HOUSE HOME WILL GIVE BOTH SPACE AND INTIMACY TO YOUR FAMILY

Nice open space, large floor-to-ceiling glass doors and windows, and breathtaking views to top it all off. The Big Cabin | Little Cabin located in the Sangre de Cristo Mountains, Colorado and is a great example of a design inspired by its surrounding environment and its smart use of limited living space.

Entering the home feels like you never shut out the outdoors. With the theme of openness, you can still enjoy the refreshing breeze and the warm sun without leaving the comforts of the cabins. If that’s not enough, both cabins have wrap-around porches where you can just sit back, relax, and take in the view.

Naturally weathered cedar siding encase the cabins to make this outport blend into the surrounding forest landscape, while gabled steel roofing takes its cues from original buildings in the area. Exposed beam interiors flaunt the simple yet robust framework of the construction and plywood walls keep materials simple and clean throughout.
