CONCRETE-FRAMED GLASS CABINS STANDING AMONGST THE TREES

Fascinating Multi-Structure Home in the Forest With Interconnected Glass Walkways

Meet Casa de Bosque, or the house in the forest, aptly name because of its silent, respectful design. The home has 4 small pavilions, constructed in such a way that it does not get in the way of the natural environment surrounding it. The construction team took great care to protect the 17 trees around the building site.

The largest of the pavilions is thee living space which measures 485 square feet. The home also has a terrace and a patio, a garage and storage,  a sleeping space and a guest room / office.

According to the architects, they built the entire home with simplicity and sustainability in mind. “You see a simple construction, without technical complications, with a lot of detail in the placement of its materials,” the firm said. “There is a wide variety of apparent materials that will age with dignity over time and will blend with the surroundings. We translated the love for nature and the original lifestyle of users into a “minimal footprint”; not to destroy natural contexts but to build in conjunction with them.”
