Relax on the round rotating bed and enjoy a stunning view of the beautiful Welsh landscape through the full height glass ‘eye.’ Or catch up in the warmth of the wood burner while protected from the elements by the sheep’s wool insulation. Stylishly blending in with its surroundings, the cave — which features a large sliding glazed door — is an alluring hideaway from the elements, while locally sourced sheep’s wool insulation and a log fire will keep you warm whatever the weather.
Like a tipi, a simple timber frame supports a canvas skin, shaped into a traditional hat. Its spacious design can accommodate fellow campers for dining, entertainment or storytelling, while the apron pulls out to welcome arriving guests. At the end of the day, retire to the king-size bed in the top of the hat for a comfortable snooze or a spectacular view of the stars through the roof dome.
