Chic and Spacious, What’s Not To Love
A-frames are usually seen as space constrictive which makes it a not-so-popular home design. However, this is not the case for this cabin. Located in a 10-acre camp in California’s High Sierra called Far Meadow, the cabin is a sight to behold. It has large glass windows that overlook the surrounding forestries and make the interiors more bright.
Inside, the cabin is lined with pared-back timber interiors. It has an open floor plan to make it more spacious with a living room, dining room, and small kitchen. The mezzanine, accessible by a floating staircase, has the sleeping area.
This A-frame is located right next to a one-bedroom log cabin that has since been modernized and refurbished with timber interiors. The properties in the compound are run by solar power and a shallow well is available nearby.
The entire camp, which includes the triangular cabin and log cabin, are for sale for €620,000.
About an hour’s drive from Yosemite, the pair of cabins sit on a plot surrounded by meadows, secret swimming holes and miles of hiking trails through the Sierra National Forest.
