Designed for Easy Towing . . . and Includes a Deck!
The first tiny house offering from GreenMoxie – an advocate of green living – is a most welcome one with a few outstanding features that make it quite unique from other tiny houses on wheels available so far. Its interior living spaces are well laid out to maximize the space available. It brilliantly solves the potential problems brought about by limited space, such as providing storage boxes that serve as stair steps to the loft bedroom, a low glass partition at the sleeping area, and a simple yet flexible layout that can accommodate family activities. Let’s take a look at these photos and tell us what you think on our Facebook Page!
The Greenmoxie Tiny House comprises a total floor space of 340 sq. ft. (31.5 sq. m.) and is based on a triple-axle trailer. Its siding consists of cedar that’s treated in the Japanese Shou Sugi Ban technique of charring wood to preserve it. Other notable materials include hardwood oak flooring, reclaimend barn wood ceilings, and reclaimed windows.
Access to the house is gained via a door with combination lock, but you won’t even get that far without first lowering the drawbridge deck. This allows the tiny house to remain a reasonable length for towing but extend when stationary to provide a generous outdoor area. Lowering and raising the deck is handled by an electric winch system.
