HALF-MOON, HALF ADVENTURE, 100% FUN!

Let This Hand-Build Cabin Be Your Shelter Within the Six Rivers National Forest

If you’re into the off-the-grid concept of living and are just looking for your next adventure, then put the Half Moon Cabin in Gasquet, California next in your list! The location features 160 acres of lush forest ripe for adventure, as well as wildlife for you to watch.

The cabin itself is small and cozy with a lovely half-moon design, hence the name, the entire location itself is remote and secluded giving guests their own little world to explore. With just enough amenities to keep guests comfortable when they aren’t out and about in the forest. Be ready for some rough living because that’s what you’re going to be expecting here! The nightly rate here is around $56.

Lush fern-encrusted hillsides slope down to countless spring-fed streams, teeming with wildlife, from cute caterpillars to (also cute, sometimes!) black bears. Accessible only by forestry road from scenic Redwood Hwy (CA-199,) this is an opportunity to experience our responsible natural relationship with Mother Earth.
