With a Soft and Neutral Palette

Located in the quiet town of Biarritz, France, near the beaches, the detached bungalow was near ruins when Constance Dorian moved in in 2006. It was built in the 1940s and in a terrible state, but for the great location, Constance decided to revamp it, and did that for the next 8 years. Today, it is a home that many would dream living in.

“Every spring I (repaint the) white exterior walls, I love the radiant effect.”

Inside, everything is fresh and bright from the soft wood furnishings to the bed linen and rugs, and all are against the whitewashed interior walls, grey concrete floor and black steel framed windows. Some elements of the old house were kept as a reminder of what it was.
