This Cozy Alaskan Cabin Will Make It Possible
Well, apparently, Fairbanks, Alaska is quite popular for dry cabins. This home in the area, however, is an exception – there is at least some running water in the kitchen sink and an outdoor shower! There is no mention of a flush toilet though – but there is definitely an authentic Alaskan outhouse, check out the photos below for a peek.
This cozy cabin is the perfect location for a winter getaway. Nature viewing is possible, or why not explore the trails and treat yourself to visions of amazing Alaskan wildlife.
It’s only 5 miles from downtown Fairbanks, so you are never too far away to stock up on provisions.
This log home can sleep up to 4 people. You can stay at this Fairbanks cabin for $85 per night!
Inside our cozy abode there is a fully stocked kitchen that has everything you will need to prepare and serve your meals (no food), the main living area has a couch/futon that can be pulled out for extra sleeping space (can sleep two) if needed. A TV with some DVD’s is available. Upstairs is large bedroom with a queen bed, and small sofa and plenty of space if you need to put up a travel crib. Outside is the outdoor enclosed shower on the side deck ( not operational in freezing temps), a path from the cabin that leads to the outhouse and the outdoor fire-pit for roasting hot dogs or smores! 🙂
