REVISITING OUR CHILDHOOD DREAM AT THE M TREEHOUSE

Meet M, The One With The Unforgettable Roof

In Mount Qiyun in Anhui, China, there lies a modern and sophisticated treehouse called “M”. Treehouse M got its name from its unique roof with a playful inverted structure which forms an M-shape.

This resort hotel treehouse is made of timber and steel with the main floor area measuring 40 square meters. The veranda, on the other hand, is a spacious 30 square meters. The place has a patio with bathtub, and this allows guests to enjoy the view while relaxing in the refreshing bath. Treehouse M is surrounded by trees and mountains, as you can see. It’s truly a tranquil and serene mountain escape.

Designed by Cambridge graduates Andong Lu and Pingping Dou of lanD studio, treehouse M was a retreat among the upper canopies of Mount Qiyun in China.
Symmetrical, the main room is outfitted with two sets of billowing curtains that can divide and conquer the space, limiting the ample light and creating a sense of intimacy within the spacious hall.
