THIS HOME HAS A COLORFUL SURPRISE FOR YOU

Definitely Not A Cabin, But This Caught Our Eye Nonetheless

Are you stuck thinking of a great way to decorate your home? How about some expensive knick-knacks? Hire an interior decorator? Those would need quite a bit of cash, but why not try something else, something more personal perhaps? The owner of a home in Indonesia dubbed the ‘Graha Lakon’ made use of his/her special collection of wooden panels, frames, and shutters and incorporated them into his/her home’s design with some eye-catching results.

Colorful wooden shutters and panels were not only used as, well, window shutters, but a lot of them were also used to decorate various areas of the home; from ‘wall tiles’ to ornamental decorations, the variously colored panels brightened up the building. The prominent material used throughout the home is vintage wood, giving it a rather rustic feel mixed with contemporary/industrial elements.

So if you have a collection of some sort that can be used to decorate your home, why not try it out. Surprise yourself with what you have.

The theme continues on the inside with the entryway showcasing a small wooden bridge, a lovely atrium that fills the lower level with greenery and ventilation welcoming you gleefully. Step inside and you will discover the full collection of wooden panels on display in the dining room, living area, and the bedrooms.
