The Tubular Glass Home with a Tree in the Middle

Well That’s One Way to Bond With Nature

This innovative tubular glass tree house is a phenomenal structure by Kazakh architect Aibek Almassov, and it’s located in none other than, well, Kazakhstan.  The extremely modern glass house surrounds a tall fir tree and thus makes it all the more alluring (and weird, in a good way). It consists of four floors where a lavish staircase swirls up to the top-most floor.  The inspirational design and majestic concept makes this living space our hottest pick this week.  Check out these photos, then tell us your thoughts on our facebook page!

Kazakh history is rife with stories of people throwing stones, making this glass tree-house, by Kazakh architect Aibek Almassov, the perfect weapon to combat stone proliferation. First designed in 2013, the dream was shattered when investors pulled out; now, however, with a glass and solar panel manufacturer expressing interest, A. Masow Architects’ ‘Tree in the House’ could soon become a reality.
