YURT LIVING IN THE NATIVE BUSH

Breathtaking Views From a Cozy New Zealand Retreat

We love yurts and we feel like we don’t write about ‘em enough!

We stumbled upon this lovely yurt in Motueka, New Zealand. The sustainable home is located in an eco village, and it shares an alternative power source with the community. There is a composting toilet, and the home is fully insulated and warm in the cold winter months. There is an outdoor tub if you want to relax and gaze at the stars while enjoying a warm bath.

You can stay at this yurt for $63 a night. It can sleep up to 3 people.

“The Chocolate Yurt” is a fully insulated 6m yurt with a skylight to gaze at the stars at night.
A private retreat in the native bush with outdoor kitchen with cooking facilities and bath/shower, both with amazing views of the Motueka river valley and the Tasman Bay beyond.
