It’s one thing to design a livable home using standard materials. But it’s a whole other story to be able to make a luxury home out of what you can find lying about. The Shipping Container House in El Tiemblo, Spain by James & Mau Arquitectura and Infiniski is a testament to the limitless creativity of architects.
Simply put, the home is a modern luxury house made with 40-foot shipping containers. The material and texture design of the shipping containers gives this home an industrial look. Inside you’ll see all the familiar sights of a conventional home. In fact, the overall style of the home fits the architectural or engineering lifestyle
Designed by studio James & Mau Arquitectura and built by Infiniski, the Casa El Tiamblo is made of four 40 foot shipping containers. Located in El Tiemblo in the province of Ávila, Spain, this 2,045 square-foot residence was completed within six months for a budget of 140,000 euros.
