Love is in the air if you are anywhere near this romantic gypsy caravan. It provides the complete package for a couple wanting to get closer, or for those wanting to write a book in peace. From colorful walls to a comfortable bed, you won’t feel anything less than “at home.”
The gypsy caravan is situated in the nook of a field [in Wales] with a view of the foothills of the romantic Black Mountains. The surrounding meadows are designated a Site of Special Scientific Interest, and in the summer are a riot of wild flowers, unusual grasses and larks singing high above. Beautifully carved, the Romany caravan was lovingly restored by Romanies from Ireland, and it has allusions to its Irishness in various places.
Next to the Romany gypsy caravan is a little dark green cabin, with all the comforts inside – bathroom, complete with large shower, loo, wash hand basin and little roll-top bath; and a living-room with a fully-equipped neat little kitchen, a sofa, an easy chair, a table (with 2 folding chairs), a radio/CD-player, a radiator and a wood burning stove. Bedding and towels, soap and loo paper are included in the price, as is electricity, hot water and logs for the wood burner. The kitchen is extremely well-equipped for its size, and comprises hob, sink and microwave.
