The home has an open floor plan with large windows and a wide doorway leading to the deck. This openness blends the inside and the outside which helps bring you closer to nature. The Den by the Stream can accommodate up to two guests. The rate here starts at around $120 per night.
Charging points and solar lights are the only nod to modernity, with the gravity-fed shower heated naturally by compost and its warmth influenced by the outside temperature, a reminder that you’re off-grid.
