A GREAT EXAMPLE OF THE CONCEPT “A HOUSE IN THE WOODS”

This Project Reminds Us To Appreciate The Simpler Things In Life
Tom’s Hutte is designed to truly take us back to when times were simple. Built to follow the natural landscape, it blends smoothly with the terrain; though small it is surprisingly spacious due having a private loft which has a door that leads out to the patio. Wide windows on both levels of the hut make sure that wherever you are in the shelter there will always be a picture-perfect view of the beautiful landscape.
If you’re looking for the kind of home where you can rejuvenate your body and soul, let this shelter’s design inspire you to try going for a getaway home that will allow you to reconnect with nature where you will be reminded, even for a little while, that the less you have the freer you’ll feel.
Built by Heike Schlauch and Robert Fabach, the cabin has received international attention and acclaim. It’s part of an architectural movement that embraces the forest and promotes a return to the simpler times of life outside the city.
