Owners Megan and Jaap built this dwelling with their own hands. They call it a shepherd’s hut, as it is inspired by traditional farm huts in the United Kingdom and France. These days, the couple has opened their place, the “Douglas and Birch Hut” to guests while they live a few hundred yards away in their main bed-and-breakfast home.
The Douglas and Birch Hut sleeps 2 people and is located in Pembrokeshire, United Kingdom. You can stay here for $110 a night.
Douglas & Birch Hut is situated in the orchard garden, it is around 500m from the main house and has it’s own private outdoor area including edible garden. Megan and Jaap live in the main house as well as run a B&B from there. Staying in Douglas & Birch Hut gives you an enviable unspoiled view down the valley towards the bay, it is gorgeously quiet with a two person hammock outside and firepit.
