AN ARTIST’S SPACE HANDMADE WITH LOVE

It Was Built By Friends And Families Using Local Materials

The Nook is an artist space and getaway that was built by a handful of people and makes use of local materials. The quaint cabin located in Swannanoa, North Carolina is secluded yet not totally off-the-grid. It is surrounded and almost hidden by lush trees in the property.

Inside, the cabin has a minimalist and zen aesthetic. Despite being a cabin for two, the house is very spacious and boasts of all the usual amenities and more. It even has a breakfast alcove, tea loft, and an entertainment loft. High ceilings and large windows also give natural light to the cabin’s interiors.

A stay in this artist’s retreat starts at $210 per night.

This house is a collection of stories. Stories of cultural and personal history, ecology, and craft.
