This year’s editor’s choice award goes to a well-crafted new home on Orcas Island, Wash., designed by Susan Stoltz and David Kau. The owners call their house Lanihuli, which in Hawaiian means “swirling heavens,” a fitting moniker for this home that captures the best moments from both the sun and the clouds.
