If You’re Into Fantasy Houses, Here’s A House That Just Jumped Into Reality
If you were to walk through a forest and find one of these houses, you might think you just stumbled into some fairytale world. In reality, though, these houses were designed to give off that woodland fantasy setting which is a kind of spice we don’t see very often in modern day architecture.
Another great characteristic of these houses is that they’re built using reclaimed wood, which is environmentally-friendly due to the reusing of lumber from previous houses or structures; this then gives the houses built from this type of wood a naturally rustic feel to them. The rustic look paired with the fairytale design is simply a match made in heaven.
“As I uncover an old barn or shed,” Pauly says, “I realize that it could be the same lumber that my great-grandfather used more than 100 years ago. I think that respect for the craftsmen and craftswomen of the past, and for the wood they used, make a difference in each new piece I create.”
