It’s Easy to Fall In Love With This Comfy Little Cottage
I mean C’mon!!! Could it BE any cuter? Here’s a cozy little cottage that makes you (okay, ME) want to immediately retire and become a full time novelist. Only if I could live here, of course. From the organically shaped wood siding, to the humble furnishings, to being entirely surrounded by the beauty of nature…. this place keeps it REAL. I hope you enjoy the photos below as much as I do! And don’t miss the VIDEO on page 2!
Surrounded by birch, ash and oak trees, this tiny owner-built cabin sits on the shore of a small lake in the Dordogne region of France. The French doors take you directly into the living space, which consists of a tiny kitchenette, dining and sitting areas. Most of the walls have a lime plaster finish, accented by some dark wood paneling and window trim. In one corner is a highly crafted winding stair with a branch for a handrail. It leads up to the cozy attic bedroom with exposed log beams.
