Located in Alstead, New Hampshire, this beautiful rustic cabin has been in Dan’s Family since the 1940’s. Tucked in the woodlands by a grassy meadow, the cabin’s surroundings are pleasant and relaxing. The cabin is open to visitors, with enough space to accommodate up to 8 guests. It has two floors, with two bedrooms and one bathroom.
The cabin faces west with an open facade provided by the grassy meadow. Its rear is tucked among the trees, offering some shade and privacy. The cabin greets you with a wide front porch. Here guests can relax on the lounge chairs or have a meal at the picnic table. The wooden deck overlooks the forest and offers a spectacular view of the Vermont mountain.
The cabin’s traditional wooden construction displays a rich heritage that has been preserved well. The place has a warm, rustic vibe, with wooden walls and flooring accented by classic furniture and decorations. A play of shades between brown and white shower the interiors. The first bedroom has a double and single bed, while the second has one double. Common areas are also available with additional bedding including a sofa bed, an air mattress, and an air mattress.
The cabin is also open to hosting events, such as concerts, weddings, workshops, retreats, or many others. Dan’s cabin has had a rich history, and its age lends the place a certain charm that makes it such a wonderful cabin to visit.
