Experience Tiny Living On The Water

Is It Everything You Dreamed of And More?
The River Den is a fully insulated houseboat that has double paned windows all round, making it comfy through the seasons. Currently docked in picturesque Wakefield, on the Gatineau River, there is plenty of cafes, bars, local bakeries, and vintage shops worth patronizing.
The floating tiny house offers 11 feet wide, 23 feet deep of cozy living space, just enough for two with occasional visitors. There is no hot water, electricity, or a fridge. There is however, portable battery pack for charging up personal electrical devices, cooking facilities including a cozy wood stove. a composting toilet, and plenty other remarkable features on board! And for about $160 per night, that’s not a bad deal!
The Den has a cozy wood stove and a second storey sleeping loft with a very comfortable queen size bed. The loft has a steel grill floor feature, great for fresh air and heat circulation and for letting the sunlight into the main cabin from above! There is a cedar roof top deck, perfect for stargazing, yoga or suntanning and a front deck for lounging and swimming.
