Located in Saratoga, Wyoming, this luxury retreat known as Magee Homestead is available for rent, either in the form of a private cabin, a stay in the main lodge, or you can rent out the entire camp (which can host about 12 couples at a time). Featured here are top notch accommodations, delicious foodie-esque experiences, plenty of outdoor adventure, and physical pampering too in the on-site spa. There’s a main lodge available, as well as nine other historic cabins that have been fully restored.
Lodge & Cabins
At the center of Magee Homestead is the luxurious main lodge. Restored and beautifully decorated by celebrated interiors firm Simeone Deary Design Group, the lodge features an elegant living area, expansive bar, and game room. Plushly appointed and accented with Western flairs such as an antique guns and a trophy hunt collection, the lodge effortlessly blends luxury and rusticity.
The lodge’s staffed private kitchen and dining room provide daily service of meals and beverages including premium beers, wine and spirits. Outdoors, the Magee lodge features a spacious outdoor dining and entertainment patio with a grand fireplace and expansive views.
Accommodations at Magee Homestead are found in a collection of nine historically restored cabins with 12 total bedrooms for a maximum of 24 guests.
History & Information
Magee Homestead at Brush Creek Ranch has its own fascinating history. The property on which the luxurious guest ranch now sits was a cow camp and hay-producing ranch back in the early 1900s. The smaller cabins on the property, which have been renovated and turned into individual lodging cabins, were once used as housing for cowpokes. The name of each individual cabin – TZ, Elk Hollow, Burgess, Wood, Pearce, Downie and Wiant – come from the original property title work, which likely reflects the names of the original homesteaders before the Ranch was combined into one larger property. In addition, an historic stagecoach from the Gold Hill Stage route originally located on the Magee Homestead has been moved, completely refurbished and serves as an elegant cabin suite on the main ranch.
