Somewhere in the woods of Tahoe Donner Community in California sits this gorgeous gambrel roof cabin. The 1,600 sq. ft. cabin was originally built in 1973 but was recently renovated. Despite the modern improvements, the house has maintained some of its old aspects. Large windows likewise give gorgeous views of the surrounding greeneries and Martis Valley. A front porch complete with deck chairs is also available for lounging and relaxing.

Guests will be greeted with a bright yellow door that contrasts the dark façade of the house. Inside, the cabin boasts of a cozy atmosphere with its warm, neutral theme as well as high ceiling beams. The house is spacious with modern accents and furniture. Wood was also used to further create a homey vibe. Paints and other hardware were also recently modified. The cabin has comfy bedrooms that also have good interiors from the beddings to the wall decorations.

This midcentury gambrel cabin offers its inhabitants a fantastic indoor-outdoor living experience, surrounded by a tranquil environment.
