This Micro Dwelling Was Built At An Unbelievable Price Tag
Architect Chu Văn Dông from Vietnam has created the Forest House as a part of a group of projects that satisfies his vision of tiny house living away from the city. Located in the Sóc Sơn District, 19 miles from the capital Hanoi, the 129-square feet house is built on a slope, standing on two stilts with a floor-to-ceiling glass wall. The tiny home boasts a lush tropical forest view.
Built by employing low-cost and simple construction methods, this house only costs $3,000!
“This is my first house in the forest,” says Chu. “I am working on a similar project on a larger scale nearby, and two additional ones in another location. I hope that the Forest House will inspire temporary housing projects from its simple construction and low cost.”
