From Old Stone Barn To Elegant Home

The Epitome of Rugged Beauty
Leachachan Barn is on the southern shores of Loch Duich in the Western Highlands of Scotland. Once used as a byre for working horses, it is now gracefully converted into an ideal holiday home for rent. And although its function is no longer to house animals, guests’ pets are always welcome.
This unique property has been sympathetically converted and retains much of its original character, and this contrasts beautifully, with the contemporary interior it now provides. Inside the property certainly has the wow factor, this is open plan living at its best, with a full height vaulted ceiling, and floor to ceiling picture windows, ideally situated to take full advantage of the views of Loch Duich and the magnificent mountain range of the Five Sisters of Kintail.
Travelling around Loch Carron takes you north to the Applecross Peninsula, Shieldaig and the Torridon mountains. The landscape here is relatively unspoilt and the scenery some of the most dramatic in Scotland.
