GO BACK TO BASICS IN THIS SUSTAINABLE SLAND CABIN!

Talk About  Off-the-Grid Living!

This minimalist cabin located off the coast of Tasmania in Australia was built as a retreat. More than relaxing nature views surrounding the property, the cabin was meticulously made with every material and angle greatly thought about.

At 300 sq. ft., the cabin is made up of zincalume metal and bushfire-resistant timber on the outside and Baltic pine on the inside. It has two decks that capture the sunrise on one and the sunset on the other. The cabin also incorporates eco-friendly techniques such as rainwater collection.

The cabin can accommodate a single person or a couple. A daybed is available as well as a small kitchenette and bathroom. The bathroom can be accessed from both the inside and outside of the house which is perfect for those camping out. The loft is also available as an extra lounging space.

As beautiful as it is, this cabin is currently privately owned.

Overall, the pared-down cabin functions like a well-designed instrument that aids its occupants in harmonizing their daily lives with natural rhythms and routines.
