GORGEOUS WEDGE-SHAPED CABIN RENTAL

It Takes Inspiration From Something You’d Least Expect
This cabin, which stands in a farmland in Mudgee, Australia might not seem like a home at first glance. Called Gawthorne’s Hut, the cabin has a unique wedge shape that takes its influence from a hay shed. This hay shed was the original structure that stood in this place but was unfortunately destroyed in a storm a few years ago. It has since been rebuilt into this modern and cozy home for two.
The cabin’s exterior is made of galvanized steel and wood. Inside, the 40 sq. ft. cabin has a warm brown interior accentuated by clay-like bricks. An open layout plan with a living room, bedroom, and a kitchen greets guests. Aside from its unique structure, the cabin is also eco-friendly with an advanced rainwater collection system and solar panels.
This lovely cabin can be rented on Airbnb for $319 per night.
The roof, which slopes 30 degrees to the north, hosts a solar panel array that’s hooked up to battery storage and provides all required power.
