IKEA JOINS THE TINY HOUSE MOVEMENT WITH THIS TINY CABIN

The Tiny Home is Hygge, Sustainable, and Affordable!
The tiny house movement has finally reached one of the most famous Swedish furniture companies, IKEA. IKEA has partnered with a tiny home company to come up with a 187-sq.ft. home that has its signature minimalist and contemporary aesthetic. These tiny homes are pre-built and portable. It incorporates renewable, recyclable, and reusable materials such as repurposed plastic bottles, making it very sustainable. It also utilizes solar panels, composting toilets, and other environmentally-friendly features.
Inside, the tiny cabin does not compromise on space for aesthetics. Most of the furnishings in these tiny homes are multifunctional and have built-in storage facilities. It is also designed with the Nordic theme and aesthetic that IKEA is known worldwide for. The IKEA tiny house starts at $47,500 and is customizable.
Just because the space is unfussy and serviceable, it doesn’t mean it’s not cozy — in fact, it oozes all the hygge you’d expect from a Scandinavian home goods company.
