Hey! This is Mind-Blowing…
No doubt, the architecture in our world is interesting and sometimes downright intriguing. But how this guy created his own little home inside a Grain silo will make you go gaga. He’s impressively transformed this functional grain storage space – I think that’s the best way to describe it – into a fully functional living space that anybody would be lucky to visit.
Architect Christoph Kaiser turned a dismantled grain silo, purchased online from a Kansas farmer, into a cozy studio in Phoenix, Arizona. The 190-square-foot space is outfitted with a highly customized interior. Scrap walnut plank flooring purchased on Craigslist for $350 accounted for most of the interior wood. Everything in this room is custom—Kaiser designed the curved-faced cabinets, the dining table, the sofa, and the lamp that has hooks for pots and pans.
