[VIDEO] A Lightweight Camping Trailer

NASA Inspired Design

The TigerMoth, as it’s called, is a lightweight trailer designed by NASA engineer Garret Finney of Texas-based Taxa. This 12-foot long and 910-pound form of technology features a compact kitchen with pull-out heavy duty drawer that can hold a camping stove, a small water tank, a prep counter and other necessary items. It also features its integration of solar-powered electrical system for the electricity for lights and to charge devices. And if that’s not already enough bang for your buck, there’s a rooftop grill that enables you to secure even more gear on top. Pricing for this one-of-a-kind trailer starts at USD $12,900. Take a look at these photos and be sure to check out the video on page 2. Then tell us what you think on our Facebook Page!
