LOG CABIN OF LOVE AND NEW BEGINNINGS

Off-Grid Log cabin Fit For Royalty

For a private, more intimate, and utterly off-grid location away from the constant prying eyes of the paparazzi, Prince William took Kate Middleton to a remote log cabin in Kenya. Located along the untapped shores of Lake Rutunda, the cabin is considered as the perfect romantic getaway for couples that wants to experience oneness with nature and with each other.

Complete with a cozy living area, kitchen, and double bedroom, everything that you could wish for a cabin is inside. What stands out most is the outside veranda that is perfect for a morning coffee while watching the sunrise, or hot cocoa while you stargaze upon the clear skies.

Aside from the heartwarming accommodation, both Prince William and Kate Middleton enjoyed a variety of activities like bird watching, horse riding, and fishing. Kate and Will even wrote in the cabin’s guest book, with William explaining he “brought more warm clothes this time” while Kate gushed the cabin was “so romantic.” “Thank you for such a wonderful 24 hours!” Wrote Kate. “Sadly no fish to be found by we had great fun trying. I love the warm fires and candle lights – so romantic! Hope to be back again soon.”

The cabins only have a radio, in which they can communicate with the Lewa Wildlife Conservancy, but apart from that they’re completely off-grid.

Added to that, there’s no electricity and water is heated by a burner outside.
