Eagle Brae is a village of log cabins located in the Scottish Highlands. Each cabin is made out of giant cedar logs that were carefully constructed to take into account its environmental impact. Most of the cabins also overlook the surrounding forests More than this, they are also carbon neutral and self-sufficient. Each cabin has its own micro-hydro scheme that provides electricity and water. Its heating also comes from biomass wood-pellet burners that are embedded on the floors.

The cabins in the village vary in size and can fit from two to six people. All cabins have warm and cozy interiors. A spacious living room, dining room, and kitchen are likewise available. The living rooms boast of wood burners and intricate wooden carvings while the kitchen has modern appliances.

The village, though surrounded by nature, is actually close to the Beauly village so guests aren’t totally off-the-grid. A stay in one of the cabins in Eagle Bray starts at $1790 per week.
