Isn’t it fantastic that this old workers house has been converted into a family home filled with amazing, everlasting memories! And it’s stayed true to its roots with amazing materials like concrete, brick and timber.
In Australia, traditional workers’ cottages, built by factory owners for their employees during the middle of the nineteenth century, were once a common sight in the cities. Many of them have since been demolished to make way for new developments, but there are some that still remain. Some of the walls that previously divided up the space were taken down, while at the front, two original bedrooms were kept.
