The Owners Have Welsh Roots And A Global Mindset
One Cat Derwen Den is just one of the four cabins located in One Cat Farm. The owner named the farm after the fact that they only had one cat. After 20 years of wandering about the world, they decided to come back to their homeland of Wales and enjoy the countryside.
The farm was built on a 2 acre meadow in Lampeter. It boasts of a wide grazing area and pond which guests can enjoy. The farm is environmentally friendly as the owners have taken measures to ensure that they become sustainable without the use of electricity. Derwen Den in itself is insulated and has double glazing to ensure minimal use of energy. The structure is likewise semi-permanent so they can easily be removed at the end of their lives. Inside, the den has Nordic-style interiors and has 2 bedrooms and a single bed which can also serve as a sofa. It is great for small families or couples. The kitchen, dining room, and showers are communal and are located in the Pig Shed, mere two minutes walk from the den.
One Cat Derwen Den is available for rent at $95 (£75) per night for two people.
As night falls, you can sit around the camp fire on log stools enjoying the stars, the moon and the sounds of country life.
