Ever looked at a shipping container and thought to yourself “I could totally make a house out of that”. Well, Flophouzes Hotel in Round Top, Texas has amazing tiny homes made from repurposed shipping containers and their planning on making more!
Each Flophouze has its own personality and can accommodate its own number of guests. Generally, the Flophouzes already comes with complete amenities; each has its own color scheme ranging from gentle colors to more expressive combinations. Once you step inside these Flophouzes you’ll forget you’re actually in a shipping container due to the well-made wooden backdrops and interior design. Every Flophouze has wide windows for natural lighting and to give guests a great view of the outside. Not only are the homes for rent, but they’re also available for purchase and can be relocated to wherever their new owners would need them to be. You can even build your own Flophouze for maximum customizability!
Six Flophouzes are now available for your stay and we are in the process of completing more by the end of the year. Upon your arrival, each HOUZE will have complimentary coffee and tea, Topochico sparkling water, and Mexican Cokes. Just a short drive away in Round Top, there is a market for light snacks and other goodies. If you feel up for some swimming and fishing, Fayette Lake is right around the corner.
