Jaw-Dropping Cabins Inspired by a Story of Four Tribes

Four Tribes Living in One Island
The Keemala Resort is located in Phuket, Thailand. It was designed by Space Architects and the Pisud Design Company. They decided to build the resort within the existing natural environment, complimenting the lush greenery by using bright, vivid colors and natural materials.
The design inspiration stems from a fictional story of four tribes; The Rung-Nok, We-Ha, Khon-Jhorn, and Pa-Ta-Pea clans. These four tribes settled in a single island, each having their own separate culture and beliefs, yet they managed to live and work together in harmony. The resort is then divided into four main villas, each representing a clan thru their unique architecture and features. Aside from these four amazing villas, the Keemala also offers other ammeneties which include a spa, two restaurants, and a large pool with a swim-up bar. For a really unique and relaxing stay, come visit the Keemala and experience the story of these four tribes. Take a look through these photos and tell us what you think on our Facebook Page!
Bird Nest Pool Villas
The Bird Nest Pool Villas are built up in the trees, enveloped by strips criss-crossing over one another, resembling a bird’s nest. Inside you’ll find a luxurious villa, representative of the rich and lavish lifestyle of the Rung-Nok tribe. It has a private pool with overlooking the forest, a canopy bed, and bathrooms with a view.
Tree Pool Houses
The We-Ha clan always admired the sky, thus the Tree Pool Houses were designed with a second floor, adding height to the living space, complimented by hanging furniture. It also features a private pool, a spa like bathroom, and a panoramic view of the surrounding nature.
