Although most of you probably already know about yurts, for those who haven’t heard of them before, yurts are typically a circle shaped tent attached to a semi-permanent (or collapsible) frame. They can easily be moved from place to place, or they can also last in one spot for many years. In any case, yurts are perfect for the nomad life. This Carmel River yurt that we’re featuring today is a distinctive and serene escape located in Carmel, CA, where its visitors are welcomed to the property through tall grass and beautiful wildflowers.
