With All the Best Rolled into One
The Chalet Vieux in Verbier, Switzerland is exemplary of French-American Mariann Tiegen’s ingenious fusion of rich colors and material palettes. The delectable selection of natural woods and stones ranges from modern white and soft beige to robust and dark browns to form the main backdrop with black metal frames and leathers and fur to top it off with just the right amount of interest. The outcome is a compellingly elegant interior with abounding style and personality.
Tiegen blends styles, periods and cultures into her work. Her path began in art school, transitioning into film set design and antique dealing, before launching her interior design firm in 2008.
