[VIDEO] Straight from the Harvard Innovation Lab

Launched by Millennial House Lab

The Getaway cabin is founded by Harvard students, Jon Staff and Peter Davis. Launched by the Millennial Housing Lab, its purpose is to help grow the Tiny House Movement. The cabin is a 160 sqft. mobile tiny home that has a light timber interior. With its minimalist yet functional design, it makes use of compartments and built-in shelves to maximize the floor area. There are different sized models of the Getaway cabin, four in New York and three in Boston. And if you want to see for yourself in-person what these Harvard students accomplished, it’s available for rent for $99 per night and uses a composite toilet, solar electricity, and propane heat.
