This house, located in Deerfield, Illinois, has a very unique structure that it has been featured in various TV programs and news publications such as The Today Show and The Chicago Tribune. Called the Pie House, this house is thin on one end and wide on the other. The architects built it like this to maximize the small space allotted by the 0.09 acre lot on which it stands.
The cabin is designed with a modern aesthetic with solid colored painted walls and hardwood floors. It has a quaint living room and dining room as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The cabin has two bedrooms, one of which is private to the owners.
A stay in this cabin starts at $120 per night.
Located in charming old town Deerfield, the house is only one block from Whole Foods, shops and restaurants plus the Metra Train Station for easy access to downtown Chicago’s Union Station.
