The Nautique Sky cabin near Fairbanks, Alaska Is The Ideal Winter Retreat
This cabin, called Nautique Sky, is completely off the grid and is actually situated 5 miles away from the power grid of Fairbanks, Alaska. No worries— the cabin has propane wall lamps for that warm, yellow romantic glow in the evenings. There are jugs for water, a cooking stove, and an ice box for preparing delicious meals. You have an outhouse in the property as well.
The best part about this place is the outdoor wood-fired hot tub. Spell romantic – there is no better way to view the Northern Lights than from this warm tub.
Nautique Sky sleeps up to 4 people. You can stay at this cabin for $150 per night.
If you visit during the winter, you will be spending the night in one of the very best spots to enjoy Northern Lights viewing in the vicinity of Fairbanks! Winter activities in the area also include dog sledding (we offer private tours on site), cross-country skiing, snow-machining, winter biking, and snowshoeing.
During the summer, you will be able to enjoy 24 hours of sunlight. Fishing, picnicking, floating, and hiking opportunities are nearby at the Chatanika River Recreation Area, and the White Mountains National Recreation Area.
