THE TINY HOUSE CRAZE SURE IS BOOMING!

This Small Home Is A Big Solution To Expensive Housing

This tiny home is more spacious than it looks, sized at a mere 192 square feet it packs a lot more than what its space can take but that’s what makes this home shine. Dubbed the Boomer, this housing project from by Build Tiny NZ (New Zealand) presents a convenient and more affordable solution to housing, making comfortable and secure homes more accessible.

Inside, you’ll be surprised by the amount of headspace for such a small home; multi-functional furniture such as a couch that can turn into a bed and cabinet storage that also functions as a staircase. The staircase leads up to a loft bed space maximizing the limited living space. The home itself is durable and lightweight, able to withstand weathering and to ease transport. To top it all off, there’s a modestly-sized deck where you can enjoy some fresh air. The Boomer design tiny home can be bought at a starting price of $38,512 for just the shell and will cost at least $70,154 for it to be fully furnished; you can throw in a little extra for the addition of a large solar panel.

Aiming to offer tiny houses for different demographics, Build Tiny NZ (seen previously with this tiny home targeted at millennials) is now offering this elegantly minimalist home for the older set. Not so subtly dubbed the Boomer tiny house, there are no swings or hammock chairs here: it’s a modern, open plan layout that feels spacious, and has stairs instead of a rickety ladder to climb up to the sleeping loft.
