A couple in a remote village in Quebec, Canada is living in an off-grid paradise!
Have you ever wondered how the ideal off-grid home would look like? Look to this home owned by Marie and Francis and let it inspire your need for sustainable living.
Their home is a renovated Earthship with an attached greenhouse. The best part about the greenhouse is how it’s designed to be a beautiful and tranquil indoor living space. Now that’s what we call relaxing!
The home is fully sustainable. It collects rainwater, uses solar power, and it has a large garden for growing fruits and vegetables. The greenhouse also acts as the home’s heater. Even during the winter, the home is still comfortably warm from the heat the greenhouse creates during sunny days.
By keeping expenses low and not having to worry about a mortgage, Francis and Marie have freed themselves from the binds that keep so many people from pursuing their dreams of living off the grid or traveling whenever they please.
